Jurassic World is the third sequel to Jurassic Park and takes place twenty two years after the events from the first film.
A new park is open for business and after ten years they decide to genetically breed a new kind of dinosaur to attract more visitors. But things start to go wrong when they realise they’ve bitten off more than they can chew.
The Indominus Rex, the genetically engineered dinosaur breaks loose and begins to wreak havoc, killing everything that comes in its path. Owen Grady (Chris Pratt), an ex-Navy Seal officer is called upon by the people who run the park to help stop the dinosaur and is set out on a rescue mission to save two teenagers when they find themselves stranded in the park with no one around but the dinosaur.
There are a lot more deaths this time round in Jurassic World. It has some great action sequences and the CGI is brilliant and shows how far we have really come since the first film. There are some moments which will make you feel nostalgic.
All the cast are on top form especially Pratt who’s proving himself as a lead actor, bringing his own sense of style to the film.
The film however, is a bit predictable and the dialogue a bit cheesy at times but it’s a fun film.
Jurassic World is undoubtedly one of the better sequels to Jurassic Park that has come out so far and will give you the ride of your life.
