Spooks: The Greater Good ★★★

Based on the TV show of the same name but not following on, “Spooks: The Greater Good” has what you may come to expect from a spy thriller today, there are a few plot twists and some intense moments to keep you entertained.
It’s a game of cat and mouse when Adem (Eyles Gabel) has slipped out of the hands of MI5 and it’s up to the head of the department, Harry Pearce (Peter Firth) to stop him. But with the MI5 now with their backs turned to him he is left with no choice but to ask for the help of his former pupil, Will Holloway (Kit Harrington). But someone on the inside of MI5 wants to bring them down and MI5 in the hope that it can merge with the CIA, creating something new.
There’s plenty of action and everything you can expect from a spy thriller today if you have never watched the show before. It’s a new take on the show and has a different look to the series.
You should expect a few gun fights and scenes when Kit is hanging off the rooftop throughout the film. There are also a few emotional moments between characters and some moments which will get you thinking.
It’s an engaging film that will have you on the edge of your seats.
